This news letter is designed from my perspective---If you enjoy the allure of a high alpine, wilderness basin, the haunting melody of an elk bugle, a four pound, tail walking rainbow trout or the challenge of sleeping in a wall tent in a remote hunting camp---please read on. I will try to keep you abreast of my activities as well as local area events from time to time.
Summer has come and gone. Fall has presented it's colors and the cool air of season's change is slowly taking a grip. After a very dry summer, we finally received some much needed moisture in the form of precipitation over the last few weeks. This is a very busy time of year. Snow has already begun to creep down the mountain side, inevitably, toward the valley floor.
The area fishing has been much improved after mid summer closures due to high water temperatures. The general archery season has been underway for a few weeks now and I am hearing of a few successful archers. The big game general opener is just around the corner. My elk camp is ready but I have much to do before some R&R.
Apple days is being held this weekend in Hamilton. It is a celebration commemorating a time when the McIntosh apple was a mainstay within the early agricultural community of the Bitterroot Valley. The Hamilton high school golf team just completed it's season winning the Montana State Class A championship and the Hamilton high school football team is undefeated thus far (as are the #1 nationally ranked University of Montana Grizzlies).
There are lots of properties from which to choose scattered all over the valley. Some have been on the market for some time. It is a really good time to be a buyer in this market. I am sure the market will turn on it's cyclical axis very soon. When it does will you be ready? Contact me today!
